Barbie Live!

This new sparkly musical features a cast of 19 incredibly talented dancers and singers who bring Barbie and her friends to life on stage. My scenic design captures the essence of "Get Your Sparkle On!" and transports audiences into Barbie's Magical World! The show boasts a contemporary and energetic score, brilliantly choreographed and directed by Kobi Rozenfeld.

After much research, I set the show in Hollywood Soundstage 419. I thought it would be clever to number the soundstage 419, corresponding to "Barbie Pink" in the Pantone Color Matching System. I'm a bit of a nerd!

In this musical, Barbie shoots her latest film in Soundstage 419 alongside her best friend and co-star, Teresa. When Teresa begins to doubt herself, Barbie draws on lessons learned from her Princess movies—Swan Lake, Princess and the Popstar, and Mariposa—to teach her best friend how to be brave, believe in herself, and embrace the power of true friendship. Such great life lessons for today.
