Sense and Sensibility
University of Georgia

I feel truly honored to have had the opportunity to serve as a guest designer and mentor at the University of Georgia theatre department. Working alongside both undergraduate and graduate students in the shop and on stage has been such a rewarding experience.
Bringing my scenic design for "Sense and Sensibility" to life with the students has been heartwarming. Their growth and development throughout this process has been inspiring and their hard work shines through in the photos of the show.
Ali, our amazing Technical Director, repurposed 2" & 1 1/2" square tube steel, along with 52 sheets of 3/8" plywood, CNC routing them to create the structure for the exquisite ironwork of the Grand Pavilion. The students did a very professional job scenically painting the Chinoiserie Portals. I am humbled and grateful to my long time Associate Scenic Designer, Jason M. Curtis. Thank you to our remarkable Guest Director, Rachel May, and my dear friend and Costume Designer, Ivan Ingermann, for making this joyous journey happen.
